Mirri Board Bauble Christmas Card

Hello Bloggers,

a Christmas card today. Yet again :)

The focal point and the inspiration for the whole design is the Spellbinders Nestabilities 2011 Heirloom Ornament S4-334 and the Spellbinders Card Creator Borderabilities Scalloped Borders 2 - S5202. Both sets are very old dies, but somehow it's only now that it clicked in my head to combine them in this way :)

The paper pad I used here had a lot of turquoise patterns, thus the color of the mirri board. It shines happily through the die-cut swirls. :)
I love the way Spellbinders Borderabilities offer a punching option, i.e. without the cutting edge. It can be used for so many purposes!
I added some liquid pearls on the bauble, as well.

Deer Christmas Card

This card made it to the Top 3 at Crafty Catz and Creative Craft Cottage!

----------------------------------------------------------

Hello Bloggers,

A Christmas card today. Obviously. For the Season :)

I found that paper pad of a thousand years ago the other day, with only a few sheets left in it. One of them had scattered glittered figures of deer on it. So, here is my idea for using the images.

I cut out one of the reindeer to fit into the Couture Creations Van Roe CO723723 - Royal Oval frame. Luckily, I also found an oval die in my stash sized exactly to make a tiny white lining around the main image inside the frame.

All the rest is just a lot of Christmas related stuff, artificial snow/ice, "snowballs" tucked between the layers at the right edge and glitter :)

The flowers are the Marianne Design COL1394 Collectables Eline's Helleboras.

Birthday Card With Clay Butterflies

Hello Bloggers,

A pinky card today. I got this DecoTime paper pad at Action the other day... a 1010th paper pad in my collection, but I could  not help it anyway - just loved the colors... Happens to me way too often. Luckily, Action is usually easy on your wallet :)

So... I made this card, and it turned out so tenderly pinky that my inner extreme multi-color guardian got upset, so I droppped a couple of very yellow butterflies onto the card. And some beads. And pearls. And some other shiny  stuff...  :)
Sequins, glitter...
The butterflies are actually made of Creall Do&Dry Lightweight modelling material using some Mod Podge Molds and colored later with Stabilo pens.
